First Eppy of the Season, Yay!

The first Epiphyllum made it's debut today! It's amazing. Compare the size of the flower to my wrist/hand !
That's one gorgeous flower :D

The Kaffir Lillies are really blooming!

Still anxiously waiting on the epiphyllums, any day now. :D

Artichoke Harvest

Our artichoke plants on July 13, first time growing artichokes :D

I love these retro postcards/images by Anne Taintor. I keep this one out on display all the time for inspiration.
We have had some great rain and now sunshine here, the plants outside are happy as can be. Time for some gardening.

Today is the First Day of the Rest of the Country!

The day was very moving, and I'm emotionally exhausted. It reminds me of Christmas,with all the waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally you get exactly what you wanted!
Now, what do you do, now that the excitement is all over. Now focus is back to thinking about what's going on all around me with stores closing and jobs ceasing to exist.
Well, at least we're headed in the right direction now, we'll take it one day at a time.
